Assassins of the Flower Moon premieres on digital platforms – Martin Scorsese’s new film stars Robert DeNiro and Leonardo DiCaprio, with whom the filmmaker has worked several times before.

Killers of the Flower Moon , the new film by  Martin Scorsese (The Irishman) starring Robert De Niro(Taxi Driver) and Leonardo DiCaprio (The Revenant), is now available for purchase and rent on digital platforms such as Prime Video, Google Play Movies and others from this Tuesday, December 5th.

Based on the book Killers of the Flower Moon: Oil, Death and the Origin of the FBI , by  David Grann , the film is set in Oklahoma, United States, in the 1920s, and portrays the serial murder of members of the Osage Indian tribe in amid the search for oil in the region they lived in.

During this period, which became known as the Reign of Terror, we meet Ernest Burkhart ( DiCaprio ), who moves to Osage County to live and work with his uncle, William Hale ( De Niro ), better known as Bill or King.

He gets a job as a taxi driver and soon falls in love with Mollie Kyle ( Lily Gladstone , Certain Women ), a member of one of the richest families in the Osage tribe, but who quickly begins to be dismantled by the terrible murders, which haunt her more and more every day. the possibility of being the next victim.

Ernest then finds himself torn between the love he feels for  Mollie , with whom he ends up marrying and forming a family, and his loyalty to his uncle, an apparently good man who is allied with the Osage and their struggle, but who doesn’t care about them. who needs to overthrow to become increasingly rich and powerful.

In addition to DiCaprio, De Niro and Gladstone, the cast of Killers of the Flower Moon also includes Brendan Fraser ( The Whale ), Jesse Plemons ( Breaking Bad ), Cara Jade Myers ( The Presence ), Tantoo Cardinal ( Dances with Wolves ), JaNae Collins ( Reservation Dogs ) and Jillian Dion ( Legion ).
