Boosie BadAzz faces legal hurdles in marrying girlfriend as no-contact order extended – Rapper Boosie BadAzz has no choice but to turn to justice to fulfill his dream of marrying his girlfriend Rajel Nelson because there is an order signed by a judge that literally prevents them from seeing each other.

Last Friday Boosie appeared in the San Diego courts to request that this ban be modified, which has been in effect for more than six months, since he was released on bail due to his latest problems with the law.

However, it seems that it will not be easy for him to fulfill his dream. The assistant U.S. attorney is convinced that the no-contact order is vital to ensuring the safety of his fiancée in Boosie’s federal firearms case.

In June 2023, the musician was arrested after he made an Instagram live where he appeared recording a video clip in an area of San Diego known for its affiliation with several street gangs. Authorities charged him with one count of possessing weapons without a permit due to his convicted status.

During Thursday’s hearing, the prosecutor explained the reasons that led him to question Rachel’s safety in the context of a private conversation that he requested to have with the judge.

Although his arguments have not been made public, he has gotten the judge to extend the no-contact order for another 60 days. If after this time there is no opposition, the restraining order will be lifted and Boosie’s request to end it will be granted.

This leaves the couple with just enough time to get married on April 1 if the rapper manages to get his way.
