Clarisa Molina’s talent and career were honored in style this week during her visit to her native Dominican Republic, where her people recognized all the effort she has put into her artistic career. The presenter of El Gordo y la Flaca first attended the Soberano Awards ceremony, where she was nominated in the Outstanding Communicator Abroad category ; However, the celebration in her name would be this Wednesday, with the unveiling of a mural in her honor in the city of her birth, Santiago de los Caballeros.

Now Clarissa shines in all her splendor on Calle de Arte del Reparto Tavárez Oeste, where locals and tourists will be able to see the image of the former beauty queen showing off her big smile during that day in which she became the winner of the contest. from Univision , Nuestra Belleza Latina VIP , in 2015, a moment that changed her life completely.

The work was carried out by the Murales de Ciudad Santiago cultural project, headed by Mayor Abel Martínez , with the participation of artists Katherine Santana , Manaury Calasam , Feliberto Pichardo and Smery Pichardo .

“July 2, 2007, that was the day I left my land, my Santiago, my roots and customs,” Clarissa recalled regarding this great honor in her native country. “Yes, I dreamed big, but I did not imagine at that moment the blessings that would fall on me as a professional, much less the love and genuine affection of my Dominican people for which I am eternally grateful and that is why in every stage I stepped on I let my Dominican Republic,” he added.

Clarissa also seeks to make her career an example for new generations who dream big. “I would love for every time young people or any human being to see this mural to know that they can achieve everything they set out to do by doing things well,” she expressed about this tribute that she received along with her father and her brothers.

“I feel super happy and honored to receive such a beautiful tribute in my city, where I was born, where I dreamed of doing things that would lead me to elevate my country. And being accompanied by my father, brothers and family makes it more special,” she said excitedly after posing next to her mural.
