What movies has Dakota Johnson starred in?
She rose to world fame when she played the role of Anastasia Steele in Fifty Shades of Grey. However, Johnson has demonstrated her versatility as an actress by participating in a variety of genres, from drama to comedy, standing out in films such as The Social Network, Suspiria, and The Peanut Butter Falcon.
Her performance in Music, Glamor and Fame also received praise for their ability to embody complex and emotionally resonant characters.
Throughout her career, Dakota Johnson has shown a commitment to artistic excellence and a willingness to challenge the limits of her talent.
Her ability to portray a wide range of emotions and characters has earned her recognition from critics and audiences alike, establishing her as one of the most notable actresses of her generation.
With her natural charisma, on-screen presence, and dedication to her acting craft, Johnson continues to forge a strong and diverse career in the entertainment industry.
What does Dakota Johnson think about the Hollywood industry?
L’Officiel questioned the actress about whether she needs to develop her own projects to play risky roles. She responded with blunt words about what is happening today in the world of cinema:
“I’m finding that the situation in this industry is fucking bleak. It’s very discouraging.
The people who run the streaming platforms don’t trust the creative people or the artists to know what’s going to work, and that will only make us implode. It’s really heartbreaking.
It’s really fucking difficult.
It is very difficult to do something. Everything I’m interested in doing is really different, unique and very advanced in whatever it is. People are very afraid and I wonder why? What will happen if you do something brave? It seems like no one knows what to do and everyone is afraid.”
What is Madame Web, Dakota Johnson’s next film, about?
Produced by Sony and Marvel, Madame Web tells the origin of one of the most enigmatic heroines of the Marvel universe, Cassandra Webb, a Manhattan paramedic gifted with clairvoyant abilities.
Confronted with revelations about her past, Cassandra enters into a relationship with three young men destined to have powerful futures, provided they survive the present dangers that surround them.
Madame Web premieres on February 14.
