What is Bronca (Beef) about?
Failed contractor Danny Cho and disgruntled businesswoman Amy Lau, both living with depression, clash in a road rage incident that spirals out of control and brings out the worst in them.
Little by little the violence escalates and involves the people closest to them, preparing a scenario of trauma, pain, lies and crimes with a fateful outcome.
Reviews were extremely positive, calling it a sharp black comedy brought to life by the devilishly magnetic Yeun and Wong , who bring enough nuance to the protagonists to find the pain behind their anger.
According to Deadline, creator Lee Sung Jin proposed the miniseries as an anthology and it is up to Netflix if it happens.
Meanwhile, the Screen Actors Guild Awards have yet to be defined, which will be presented on February 24, for which Ali Wong , Steven Yeun and the cast made up of Joseph Lee Anderson, Young Mazino (recently signed as Jesse in the second season of The Last of Us ), Remy Holt, David Choe, Patti Yasutake, Ashley Park, Maria Bello and Justin H.
