Empowering Latinas: Cabello Shines Bright at L’Oréal Gala
Empowering Latinas: Cabello Shines Bright at L’Oréal Gala- As a distinguished ambassador for L’Oreal Paris, Camila Cabello serves as a prominent representative for Latina women, embodying and championing our distinct perspectives.
In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE preceding L’Oréal Paris’ prestigious Women of Worth event on November 16, the acclaimed Cuban singer-songwriter offered insights into her evolving relationship with the concept of beauty.
Reflecting on her journey, Cabello expressed, “It has undergone a significant evolution. When I was younger and embarked on my career, beauty was not a primary consideration. However, today, I perceive it as more than just an aesthetic pursuit; it is an expression of joy and the essence of being alive. My fascination with beauty has matured over time.”
Before rising to fame, Cabello candidly shared that her mother played a pivotal role as her foremost influencer in matters of fashion and beauty. Her mother’s guidance, characterized by honest appraisals, laid the foundation for Cabello’s understanding of the significance of maintaining a polished appearance.
“She would say, ‘You look amazing, but let’s address this detail.’ For her, the commitment to always looking one’s best is synonymous with enhanced confidence. It’s not a superficial or frivolous pursuit,” emphasized Cabello.
During the high-profile L’Oréal event, Cabello took the stage to introduce two of the ten honorees, namely Estefanía Rebellón of the Yes We Can World Foundation and Samantha Wettje of the 16 Strong Project.
For this significant occasion, the young singer chose to don an elegant black suit adorned with striking silver hoops, making a sophisticated fashion statement that complemented her role as a distinguished representative for L’Oreal Paris and its values.
