Frozen 4 in Development Alongside Unreleased Part 3
Disney still has no plans to stop producing income in the short term, since recently, the company’s CEO, Bob Iger, confirmed that they already have ‘Frozen 4‘ in mind, even before the premiere of the third part of this saga.
Despite the ongoing production and impending release of ‘Frozen 3,’ CEO Bob Iger has disclosed plans for the development of ‘Frozen 4,’ as reported by the Espinof portal.
As communicated by the Disney CEO, the production of ‘Frozen 3’ is currently underway, with emerging signals suggesting the initiation of development for ‘Frozen 4.’ Nevertheless, comprehensive details regarding these forthcoming films are currently limited. Jenn Lee (the director), who created Frozen and Frozen 2, is working hard alongside her team at Disney Animation on not just one, but two stories.”
Similarly, the composer of the soundtrack of both films, Kristen Anderson-Lopez, also confirmed the news through her social networks: “I haven’t said anything here for a while. But yes, that’s how it is”, she responded to Variety’s news about the future ‘Frozen 4′.
Given the record-breaking grosses of ‘Frozen’ and ‘Frozen 2’, which is also the highest-grossing animated sequel in history, it’s no surprise that Disney is eager to continue Anna and Elsa’s story.
Disney+ announced the end of shared accounts
A few days ago, Disney+ began to notify users of its streaming platform about the changes that will be implemented in Spain starting in November. These changes include the introduction of a new standard plan with ads and restrictions on shared accounts.
The standard plan with ads is available in Spain from November 1, as announced by the company in August during a meeting with investors. At that time, the company did not specify the countries to which this new subscription option would reach.
This plan, which will include ads, will provide access to the entire Disney+ catalog, unlike Netflix, which limits content. However, this plan will not allow downloads and will offer up to two simultaneous devices, 1,080p image quality, and 5.1 stereo audio.
The newly introduced subscription option will coexist with two alternative selections: the standard subscription, free from advertisements and allowing offline content downloads; and the premium subscription, augmenting the standard offering with attributes like 4K resolution, support for up to four concurrent devices, and stereo audio.
Moreover, there are variations in the pricing structures among the three plans: the standard subscription with ad support is priced at 5.99 euros per month in Spain, the ad-free standard subscription is set at 8.99 euros, while the premium subscription, incorporating advanced features, is available at a monthly cost of 11.99 euros.
