After her separation from Tom BradyIn October 2022, Gisele Bündchen was romantically linked to her coach Joaquim Valente, without having publicly confirmed a courtship so far. However, these versions of a new love in her life have been clouded by rumors that suggest that the personal bond between the model and the jiu-jitsu expert would have begun before she concluded her marriage to the star of the NFL. Although the Brazilian has avoided at all costs talking about her love life, she recently did so and she also made it clear once and for all that she was never unfaithful to the father of her children.
“It’s a lie ,” Gisele told The New York Times when questioned about speculation of an alleged slip of hers while she was married to Brady. “This is what happens to many women who are blamed when they have the courage to leave a relationship that is not healthy and are labeled as disloyal,” explained the model.
Gisele admitted that in situations like the one she experienced with the end of her marriage, women often deal with the opinions of third parties, but that only those involved know with certainty what is happening. “They have to deal with their communities. They have to deal with their family. Of course, for me, it turns out that it’s a little amplified. “No one knows what happens between two people, only the two people who are in the relationship ,” she assured.
In the interview, the top model talked about her current relationship like never before, although she did not explicitly mention Joaquim’s name. “This is the first time I’m seeing someone who was first a friend. Is different. “He is honest and he is very transparent ,” she said.
Bündchen and the Brazilian jiu-jitsu coach’s friendship would have begun in late 2021, when she was still legally married to Brady. The catwalk star was reserved in her response, and preferred not to mention anything about her relationship with Joaquim. “I’m very committed to living my truth more than ever, so I would say that’s where my heart is right now, where I am right now. I am living my truth and I make no apologies for it ,” said the Brazilian. “At this moment, my main focus is my children and creating this beautiful sanctuary for our family. And then, yeah, like, why not, right? I think life is full of surprises and I don’t have a crystal ball to know what is going to happen tomorrow ,” she added.
