His appearance in the first season of Loki showed that Kang’s character could be terrifying and it would be very interesting to see Majors bring him to life in various ways throughout the saga, and even in Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania, it was his work that best connected with the critics who despised the sequel. 2023 was the decisive year in his career, but everything fell apart after a chaotic night that ended with him being arrested for assaulting his girlfriend.

It took a while for the media to give genuine details about what happened, since first it was reported that the actor had fought with a woman and until later it was confirmed that it had been his partner, and that the arrest took place at his home. Majors’ legal team got to work immediately and clarified that in certain cases where partner abuse is suspected, arrest is protocol, but it had nothing to do with their client’s innocence. At that time it was also said that the performer’s partner and alleged victim had stated that she had been responsible for starting the incident.

But this did not help Majors at all, as the public reacted to the victim’s messages saying that they reflected constant abuse on the part of the actor and that she was still trapped in that toxic relationship and it was normal for her to try to blame herself. Shortly after, several artists and directors came out claiming that all of Hollywood knew that he was a very violent abuser, but everything was kept secret because that is what industry law dictates and because he was a very promising name.
