Exercise and the fitness lifestyle are already an essential part of Jennifer Lopez’s daily life . Despite her busy schedule with a tour about to begin and many other projects on the horizon, the singer always knows how to set aside time to exercise and stay in shape.

Not for nothing is she, at 54 years old, an example to follow for all the successes she has achieved throughout her artistic career and her impressive physique. Getting a fit body does not require spending many hours in the gym or practicing a sport, as it is enough to take 20 to 30 minutes to practice a routine from home and thus keep your body in constant movement.

This is JLO’s routine to exercise at home

The singer shared with her followers one of her routines to exercise from anywhere. Whether you live in an apartment or have a garden, like Jennifer Lopez in her video, this routine will be easy to replicate in any setting. The best thing is that the only equipment needed to achieve this will be a mat and a pair of dumbbells. Like any good workout, the actress and singer begins with a warm-up based on yoga exercises. Prioritizing this part is very important to prepare the joints and muscles and thus avoid injuries.

The next stage of training is arm strengthening. JLO takes a 5-pound dumbbell in each hand to do vertical lifts and thus train the shoulder. Subsequently, the singer performs lat training combined with squats to begin to mobilize the lower part of the body.

The following exercise is one of the least popular but it perfectly strengthens the thighs, calves and glutes. JLO performs weighted lunges with each of the legs and then continues with her shoulder in an inverted hammer.

The next stage of training includes the popular bicep curls , which will allow you to gradually gain strength in the upper part. The abdomen is not far behind as JLO performs an inverted crunch to strengthen the lower abdomen and thus close the workout perfectly. These simple exercises can be repeated for 4 to 5 rounds depending on the time you have. If your day is full and you only have 10 minutes, you can even do each one once. It is always important to remember to integrate a small stretch at the end to help your muscles cool down and relax after muscle tension.
