Krampus, Santa’s former helper who eats children
Krampus, Santa’s former helper who eats children – Krampus, Santa Claus’s former helper, has a hairy body, twisted goat-like horns, legs similar to those of a faun, and black hair with a devilish face.

Naughty children who misbehaved, those who disobeyed their parents, those who got bad grades and those who did not brush their teeth, must be careful because Krampus, Santa’s former helper, is roaming around every corner of the planet at this time.
He would reveal his long red tongue and the anti-Santa Claus intends to punish all the mom’s imps.
It is known that Krampus was born somewhere in the Alpine countries, or so it is remembered in local folklore.
But unlike Santa Claus who surely lives in the North Pole, the residence of this creature is not known exactly. It may live in Germany, but may also have some residence in Austria, France, Italy, Liechtenstein, Monaco, Slovenia or Switzerland.
It doesn’t really matter where you live, because just like Santa who uses his magic fueled by the dreams, hopes and desires of children to reach any home in the world and reward, Krampus uses it to punish.
Streets throughout the Western world radiate with colored lights that illuminate Christmas Eve flowers, seasonal decorations, buildings and houses.
While Christmas trees peek out of the windows and many children play in the streets, lie down in the snow to make figures of bears and angels in their patios.
But the European anti-Christmas entity doesn’t care about that, he has to do his job at night. He walks those streets ringing a crude iron bell that hangs from his neck while dragging rusty chains, in order to warn of his arrival, causing fear to whoever listens to it, a feeling that he enjoys.
Santa, the bearded, chubby one, who always wears a red suit that everyone loves, makes a long and in-depth analysis of the behavior of each child and crosses out those who are annoying and badly behaved.
But unlike Santa Claus who carries a sack full of toys on his back and goes down the chimney, Krampus opens the door, his head hits the mistletoe that hangs tied from a child and he puts the children in a basket that he carries on his back and take them to hell and eat them.
This happens especially in December “Krampus Night” or “Krampusnacht”, as they say in German, when it is better to reflect, apologize to parents for their bad behavior and behave well, before it becomes too late.
Before Santa Claus left coal for bad children, Krampus was one of his faithful assistants, whom he sent to scare the children with his unattractive appearance, out of his desire for the children to always behave well.
However, it is not known when the dumbbell was separated from him.
Krampus was born before the era of Christianity, it is a very ancient entity that for centuries has represented a balance between light and darkness, thus harmonizing that fight between good and evil.
His presence has been feared throughout the centuries and sometimes they have even tried to eliminate his existence, as happened in the 1930s when the Austrian fascist government prohibited talking about him, but after the fall of the regime his name resurfaced.
Currently, Krampus has gained a lot of popularity and has risen to international fame, thanks to his appearances on television, including “Scooby-Doo Mysteries SA” or American series such as “Grimm” and “Supernatural.”
Also like the commercial version of Saint Nicholas who has starred in countless films, Krampus does not want to be left behind and has already appeared on the big screen as “Krampus: The Christmas Devil.”
Like everyone famous, Krampus already has his entourage of fans all over the world, especially in Austria, who during the Christmas season dress up as the monster and start chasing people, a practice that is already a tradition in the region for family entertainment.
Krampus seems increasingly famous, partly thanks to his presence in the cinema, and therefore it is advisable to behave well.
Do your homework and listen to your parents to enjoy a warm Christmas, with punch and carols, and not wake up the interest of the anti-Claus, who can make surprise visits to the houses to satisfy his ferocious appetite.
