Last season of “Stranger Things” already has a recording date – One of Netflix’s most successful stories is about to come to an end.

“Stranger Things”, the story of a girl with supernatural powers, who fights, along with her friends, against deadly creatures from a dark place, has conquered Netflix subscribers for more than seven years.

However, unfortunately for its fans, this series is about to come to an end.

In July 2022, the second part of the fourth season arrived on the streaming platform, in which the identity of Vecna was revealed , a monster that is determined to plunge the world into the most terrible darkness, and since then the followers of this plot have been kept on edge waiting for the fifth and final installment.

In February 2022, months before the fourth season arrived on the platform, the Duffer brothers, creators of the saga, announced that they were already planning the end of the story, but they did not give more details about when filming would begin, much less the date on which it would see the light… until now.

The only thing that was known is that the production already had the scripts ready, but the strike of writers and later actors that broke out in Hollywood delayed all plans. However, according to information from Deadline, the date on which filming will begin has finally been revealed . The bad news is that the public will have to wait a long time, as it is planned to start until January 2024 .

The specialized film site indicated that it could be next January 8 when the Hawkins gang reunites, although it is believed that the actors, including Winona Ryder, Finn Wolfhard, Millie Bobby Brown, Gaten Matarazzo, Caleb McLaughlin, Natalia Dyer and Charlie Heaton, are already in Atlanta, where the entire series has been filmed.

Deadline also confessed that after the end of the actors’ strike, David Habour (who plays Hopper) received a call from production to immediately begin filming, but for the moment that is all that is known.

What they have promised is that the fifth season will be an event as big as any Hollywood film work.

This story was a resounding success for Netflix and became one of the most viewed productions in its entire history.
