Leonardo DiCaprio reveals he introduced Martin Scorsese to Studio Ghibli films – Entering Studio Ghibli’s cinema is a blessing that can come to any age, and it seems that it came late to Martin Scorsese.

During a meeting with Letterboxd, Leonardo DiCaprio reveals that it was he who introduced the director of The Wolf Of Wall Street to the dreamlike cinema of the famous Japanese animation studio.

The acclaimed filmmaker had his first interactions with Hayao Miyazaki thanks to the good Leo.

Scorsese and DiCaprio met online for a conversation in which they discussed their favorite films, career, among other topics of interest.

In one of the interactions, the star of The Aviator reminded Martin that he was the one who made him watch Studio Ghibli films pieces with which he had not had contact in previous years.

This is what Leonardo declared in the video shared by Letterboxd through his official YouTube channel.
