LUSH unveils ‘Saltburn’ Bath Bomb, inspired by Hollywood royalty and vampire moments. And on top of that, the slogan is “Come and relax, or vice versa…“. Marketing in its purest form.

Barry Keoghan in ‘Saltburn’
Less indifference, ‘Saltburn‘ almost certainly made you feel things when you saw it, at least two scenes: the vampire moment and the bathtub.

If you too have wondered what that water tasted like, now LUSH allows you to discover it in your own home.

Saltburn
Production designer Suzie Davies has already clarified that what Barry Keoghan sipped in that bathtub was a mixture of “yogurt, a little milk and a little water”, but the British cosmetics company has opted for a mixture of milk of coconut powder and sea salt to create a limited edition bath bomb inspired by the movie.

The Saltbomb can be purchased at LUSH in the UK for £5 and, according to the website, will make you feel like Hollywood royalty.

Furthermore, the slogan could not be more appropriate to pay homage to Emerald Fennell‘s film: “Come and relax, or vice versa…“. But hey, if what you have in your house is a shower tray, don’t worry, you can also buy a candle that smells like Jacob Elordi, or rather like eau de Elordi.

Saltburn can be streamed on Prime Video starting December 22nd.

The little dance
The British Academy of Film and Television Arts will present its awards, the BAFTAs, on February 18, 2024, and ‘Saltburn‘ is nominated in the categories of Best British Film, Best Actor (Barry Keoghan), Best Supporting Actress (Rosamund Pike), Best Supporting Actor (Jacob Elordi), and Best Original Score.

But whether or not it wins an award, the film will star in a very special moment at the gala, as the British singer Sophie Ellis-Bextor will perform her 2001 hit ‘Murder on the Dancefloor‘, the song that plays at the end of ‘Saltburn‘ and that Keoghan dances naked (and without any prosthetics).
