Netflix secures Kim Kardashian for comedy ‘The Fifth Wheel’
It seems that Kim Kardashian has taken a liking to acting. The reality star appears in the twelveth season of the horror series “American Horror Story,” created by Ryan Murphy, and has already landed her next project to continue building her acting career.
On this occasion, she will also dare to work as a producer with Janine Brito and his wife Paula Pell, one of the writers of the legendary program “Saturday Night Live”, in a comedy entitled “The Fifth Wheel”. Kim has secured a position for herself in the predominantly female ensemble, pending final confirmation.
Currently, specific plot details remain undisclosed, with only the information that the production is slated to be a comedy. Netflix took over the distribution rights after a bitter war between several studios who wanted to release the film in theaters. For Kim, it’s a triumph because, although she’s used to moving in front of the cameras thanks to the reality show she’s been taping since 2007, her acting career had been strictly limited to cameos and work voice-over in the ‘The Paw Patrol films. . .
On previous occasions, critics had been particularly harsh towards her and her acting talent, but with the help of Ryan Murphy, she managed to make up for it and show that she knows how to act.
