Robert Pattinson’s Unique Sleep Journey: Twilight to Open Sea
Actor Robert Pattinson, star of the ‘Twilight’ saga and the latest cinematic adventure of ‘Batman’, has become in his own right one of the most in-demand actors in the Hollywood industry. Today, the British artist can boast of having overcome the typecasting linked to his former image as a youth idol, to surprise critics with roles as risky and demanding as the one he offered in the acclaimed ‘El Faro’, alongside the renowned Willem Dafoe.
Life smiles on the 37-year-old interpreter, both professionally and personally. Since 2018, Pattinson has maintained a very discreet relationship with the model Suki Waterhouse, a secrecy that is explained, among other things, by the shyness that the actor has always displayed and his desire to protect his private life at all costs. However, in his latest interview with Architectural Digest, Pattinson has opened up like never before about one of the most complicated stages of his life.
The publication usually reveals the luxurious and elegant homes of famous people, but in the case of Pattinson, he preferred to be honest about the austere existence he led in his most economically precarious times. “I consider my least preferred couch could also be my preferred. There was a time when the only piece of furniture I had was an inflatable boat, which served as a sofa, a bed and a table to eat at,” he recalled. “I loved it, but it gave me a lot of back problems,” he joked.
Another example of the sincerity that Robert Pattinson can display in public occurred a few weeks ago. In conversation with ES Magazine, the film star acknowledged having been the victim of an increasingly frequent phenomenon in his work circle. And the physique of men, like that of women since time immemorial, is also being subject to intense scrutiny by studios, the press and social networks.
“Yes, it’s crazy. And it’s very, very easy to fall into that extraordinarily addictive diet and exercise dynamic. And sometimes you don’t realize how insidious it all is until it’s too late. I’ve tried every diet possible, but I lacked consistency,” he revealed about practices such as “not eating anything except potatoes” for weeks. “Apparently it cleans you up from the inside… You certainly lose weight,” she admitted.
