Royals Labeled ‘Cold’: Omid Scobie’s Explosive Revelations
Catherine, the Princess of Wales, is reported to playfully shudder upon encountering the name Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex.
The royals are also described as “cold” in an upcoming book called “Endgame” by Omid Scobie, 41, who is known as “Meghan’s Cheerleader.”
Leaked sections of the tome, due to be published on Tuesday, indicate that there has been “almost no direct communication, apart from some brief banter” between the princess and the duchess since 2019.
In the book, a source is cited which says:
(Catherine) was close to Harry and will always recall those times warmly…and the affiliation he had with his children…but for her, she can’t trust them, after all their interviews.”
The source was referring to conversations that included the explosive meeting the Duchess and her wife Prince Harry, 39, had with Oprah Winfrey after leaving Britain for the United States and their interviews on her Netflix series “Harry and Meghan”.
Omid also says in his book that there is “no turning back” for his Duchess Meghan.
In one chapter, he says that Catherine received elocution lessons in an attempt to sound more like the late Queen Elizabeth II.
The chapter says:
“Kate learned what is essential to surviving in the system: disappearing into your role, revealing nothing, and allowing yourself to embody what the public sees in you. And with these elocution lessons, the Princess of Wales even looks a bit like her former boss: refined, regal and rightly aloof.
Omid Scobie asserts that Catherine provided no assistance or backing to Duchess Meghan upon her entry into the royal family.
Among the stories about what caused the couple’s alleged breakup is one that claims the Duchess made Catherine cry over her daughter Princess Charlotte‘s choice of bridesmaid dress for the wedding of Harry and Meghan in 2018.
Reports in the United Kingdom stated that Meghan had made Catherine cry, but Meghan later told Oprah Winfrey that it was the other way around.
“Endgame” is the sequel to Omid’s book “Finding Freedom” about the royal family’s so-called “Megxit” of Harry and Meghan.
