The Last of Us: Bella Ramsey prefers anonymity over fame – The star admits it’s been difficult since she rose to stardom with Game of Thrones.

Bella Ramsey is one of the most prominent youth stars of the moment, all thanks to her participation in some of HBO’s most successful productions. But while many might love fame and stardom, Ramsey thinks the opposite. In an interview with LAD Bible she admits that fame has been scary and that she prefers anonymity. It’s clear that Bella ‘s priority isn’t seeing her face in every billboard.
Ramsey ‘s career took off with great notoriety when she played the role of Lyanna Mormont in the hit HBO series, Game of Thrones, during seasons 6 to 8. Despite her brief time on screen, Ramsey left a lasting impression due to her powerful and charismatic performance as the young leader of House Mormont.
After her participation in Game of Thrones , Bella Ramsey continued to build her career with notable projects, including the lead role in the Netflix mystery-adventure series, The Worst Witch , based on the novels by Jill Murphy. Her versatility and talent have positioned her as a promising young woman in the entertainment industry, and she is considered a rising actress with a promising future.
Bella talks about the paths of fame and says that her journey with it has been truly peaceful, all thanks to the conscious decision not to have contact with the press since her Game of Thrones boom.
“I think we chose the right route in terms of when Game of Thrones all started coming out. We chose the route of doing absolutely nothing, not doing interviews, not giving out personal information. It was so scary.”
In more recent times, Bella returned to the spotlight thanks to The Last of Us, a series in which she plays Ellie, a character notable for the richness of her nuances and emotional complexities. She is introduced as a brave teenager who has grown up in a post-apocalyptic world affected by a pandemic.

The second season will begin its development soon, however, it still does not have a release date.
