Lionsgate Movies reveals the official trailer for The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare, the new film that has the British and the Mexican in the starring roles.
The trailer is action-packed and hilariously crazy worthy of the most intrepid spies of their era. We have never seen Cavill like this.
What is The Ministry Of Ungentlemanly Warfare about?
The film is based on Churchill’s Secret Warriors: The Explosive True Story of the Special Forces Desperadoes of WWII, a book that tells the fascinating and little-known story of the British special forces during World War II.
Written by Damien Lewis, the book delves into the secret and dangerous operations carried out by these special units, known as the “Desperadoes.”
These underground warriors, hand-picked by Winston Churchill, were trained in highly specialized combat techniques and participated in covert missions behind enemy lines, from sabotage to infiltration and prisoner rescue.
The work provides a detailed insight into the daring and heroic operations of these special forces during the war, highlighting their bravery and contribution to the Allied victory.
Additionally, the book sheds light on the intense training and mental and physical rigor that characterized these special soldiers.
In the film, Henry Cavill plays Gus March-Phillips. In addition to Eiza González, the cast includes Alan Ritchson, Henry Golding and Cary Elwes.
