This procedure serves to remove excess skin or fat from the eyelids. It can be performed for purely aesthetic reasons, to reduce the appearance of drooping eyelids or eye bags, but it can also correct serious health problems for the patient.

This is the first time she has spoken openly about her decision to resort to plastic surgery.

In Amanda’s case, it was an intervention designed to alter her appearance and make her feel more comfortable in her own skin because she was not at all happy with the skin folds that formed at the corners from her eyes.
