Alazraki Entertainment founders launch Maquina Vega to create high-quality bilingual content for global audiences. With the aim of offering high-quality content to Spanish-speaking audiences around the world, Maquina Vega will produce series in English and Spanish with talent in Mexico and Latam.

The founders of the production company Alazraki Entertainment, creator of the successful Mexican film Nos los nobles in 2013, take a step on the international scene with their association in Maquina Vega, a company that seeks to generate content in English and Spanish for Spanish-speaking audiences in various parts of the world.
After the devastating box office premiere of the film starring Karla Souza and Luis Gerardo Méndez, the Alazrakis undertook a new project that was positioned as Netflix’s first original Spanish-language series Club de Cuervos, whose story spanned four seasons.
A couple of years later, Gaz Alazraki joined the ‘Nuevo Toledo’ club as a participant in the Kings League, a soccer tournament founded by Gerard Piqué.
Recently, the film Father of the Bride, directed by Gaz Alazraki, became one of the contents that attracted the largest audience to the HBO Max streaming platform.

The creator of Club de Cuervos currently works as creative director at Maquina Vega, a production company based in Los Angeles and Mexico City.
Through this new project, Gaz and his associates seek to recruit an abundant list of screenwriters, directors and emerging talents who will contribute to the creation of high-quality content in the two predominant languages on the American continent.

Alisa Tager arrives with all the experience after having served as president of America Anonymous Content Studios, a position she will also assume at the production company.
Moisés Chiver, who is also a partner in Alazraki Entertainment, also joins Maquina Vega as head of film production and financing. His knowledge as a producer in projects such as Nos los nobles and Club de Cuervos will be fundamental for the development of the internal production of Maquina Vega and the respective financing of the content from CDMX.
Likewise, the addition of Mark Alazraki, who directs the Netflix series Welcome to the Family, will oversee the development of the production company while continuing with his writing and production projects.
In the field of distribution, Vicente García Cors joins the team to promote the films and productions of Compañía Vega both in Mexican territory and in the rest of Latin America.
As part of the production company’s first steps, Gaz Alazraki was enthusiastic about the project’s growth outlook.
“I have dreamed for many years of ways to create a home for my projects and at the same time create a destination for all the talented people we admire,” he said.
