Vin Diesel Faces Sexual Assault Claim During Filming – The actor from the blockbuster franchise is the subject of a strong accusation.

More than six years have passed since #MeToo and the complaints against stars and producers continue.

The most recent to face these types of accusations is Vin Diesel, famous action star of the 2000s.

In a lawsuit that has already been filed in court, a woman claims that the interpreter met her at a hotel, groped her and performed a sexual act in front of her.

What was Vin Diesel sued for?

According to Variety, Asta Jonasson has sued Vin Diesel for a sexual assault that occurred during the filming of Fast and Furious 5 in Control.

She was an assistant to the action star when, in 2010 during a night in Atlanta, United States, he allegedly met her in his hotel room, forced her to occupy his bed and when she tried to leave, he grabbed her, groped her and masturbated in front of her.

As you can read, the accusation is quite serious. Jonasson claims that after the incident, Samantha Vincent, the actor’s sister and president of a production company, called her to say goodbye to her.

That’s why she’s also seeking reparations for gender discrimination and wrongful termination.

At the moment, Diesel representatives have not commented on the incident.

This is the first accusation of its kind made against Diesel.

The actor is usually quite discreet about his personal life, but it is known that he has been married to the Mexican model Paloma Jiménez since 2007 and has three children.

He named his first child Paul to honor the late actor Paul Walker, his friend and fellow Fast and Furious franchise star, who died in a serious car accident.

Unfortunately, it is not the first case that has occurred against a famous Hollywood actor.

In 2023 alone, the Ezra Miller and Armie Hammer scandals stole headlines only to then be more or less overshadowed by the domestic violence arrest of Jonathan Majors, a rising Marvel star who just a few days ago was found guilty of assault and harassment after a two-week trial.

Since his beginnings, which include Steven Spielberg ‘s acclaimed Saving Private Ryan, Diesel has pursued action roles in both established franchises and original projects that later became one.

Although his role as Toretto has been perhaps the most memorable of his career, he is also famous for being the voice of Groot in a handful of Marvel films.

Thanks to Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3, and the premiere of Fast and Furious 10, 2023 has been a good year for Diesel.

It was expected that the eleventh installment of the racing franchise will begin filming in 2024.

So it will surely not take long for us to have news about their version of events sooner since the studio will surely not want to invest in a public image scandal.
