Lindsay Lohan disheartened by Mean Girls prank referencing painful past. Lindsay Lohan has been shocked after discovering that the producers of the new version of ‘Mean Girls’ have betrayed her trust after she was delighted to collaborate with them.

The 37-year-old actress starred in the 2004 film as Cady Heron, a teenager who didn’t know how to navigate the hierarchy of an American high school after spending her entire life in Kenya.
She has been the only one of the original ‘plastics’ to return for the new musical version, and she was not amused to discover that the creator of the story, Tina Fey, has returned the favor by making a joke about one of the most humiliating moments of his personal life.
Without giving too many spoilers, at one point in the plot the action moves to TikTok to show a video of Megan Thee Stallion where she proclaims that “the redhead crotch of the early 2000s is back in fashion.”
This comment is a reference to the offensive nickname that Brandon Davis – a wealthy oil heir and friend of Paris Hilton – gave Lindsay back in 2006.
For those who don’t know, Paris and Lindsay were sworn enemies for years.
Their confrontation began when the actress was linked to a Greek shipping heir who had previously been the famous blonde’s boyfriend.
Consequently, Lindsay became persona non grata in Paris’s circle and, on one of those nights out where there was no shortage of alcohol, Brandon dedicated himself to insulting her in front of the paparazzi while Paris laughed behind her.
He commented that Lindsay was “poor” because she had a fortune worth “only” seven million dollars, mocked her natural hair color, and claimed that no one would want to sleep with a redhead like her.
Initially, the actress was delighted with her brief cameo in the new version of ‘Mean Girls‘ and even attended the premiere a few days ago in New York.
The problem, apparently, is that she had not been able to read the entire script and she discovered that it was referring to that infamous moment when she saw the movie.
Lindsay’s representative has assured that she is disappointed by the way in which something that was so painful for her is trivialized.
