Although the singer has managed to make the leap to the big screen through massive productions, her experience has not been entirely easy.

John Cena interviews People and talks about the support he gave the ‘Don’t Start Now’ singer during the filming of the film.

What did Dua Lipa and John Cena say about their shared experience filming Argylle and Barbie?

Argylle stars Henry Cavill and Bryce Dallas Howard, Dua Lipa, and John Cena. The last two became so close that the singer mentioned to Rolling Stone the great emotional support that the fighter gave her: “I can’t do anything without him. ‘I have loved working with him.”

For his part, John appreciated Lipa ‘s comments on the subject:

“My takeaway from that comment, which I’m very grateful for, is that we filmed this before Barbie, so this was her first opportunity to appear on screen. She was vulnerable enough to admit that she was nervous.

I stand in front of Dua Lipa, Matthew Vaughn, and Henry Cavill, and I say, ‘You’re not alone! I’m nervous too.’ So we started sharing that.

We’re both touring with live artists, so we had some conversations about that and life on the road, and it all grew from there.”
