Rebel Moon becomes most watched thing on Netflix last weekend – Zack Snyder’s new film rises through the air and becomes the most viewed.

Rebel Moon (Part One): The Fire Girl arrived on the Netflix platform a few days ago and quickly climbed to the Top 10 global movies.

Zack Snyder returns to the streaming giant for a new ambitious galactic production in the style of Star Wars.

Although the reviews are not particularly good, the reproductions have achieved a fairly distant position and positioned Rebel Moon in a great place in the entire catalog.

After his hectic time at Warner, and seeing many of his DC products fail, Zack Snyder left with Netflix to create an interesting partnership that made possible the development of Army of the Dead, his other zombie film that became a resounding success.

The red streaming giant asked him for more projects and Zack took the initiative to move forward with a great project that emerged many years ago: that of a space opera.

The film was originally intended as a spin-off of Star Wars, however, the deals with Lucasfilm did not progress and Snyder continued with the creation of this universe on his own account.

Inspired by greats

Rebel Moon is inspired by The Seven Samurai Akira Kurosawa ‘s remarkable film that follows a group of samurai hired to protect a town from constant attacks by bandits.

As the protagonists train the villagers and prepare for the impending battle, themes of honor, bravery, and sacrifice are explored.

Thanks to this film, others such as A Bug’s Life: A Miniature Adventure and The Magnificent Seven – were also conceived. Without a doubt, Zack was enlightened by the concept of savior heroes and his Rebel Moon will feature many of them.

Now, according to media such as Comicbook, Rebel Moon conquered the Netflix platform during the recent weekend days in which Christmas was celebrated and which left many families around the world quite awaiting the new Zack Snyder film.

According to the media, Rebel Moon reached number one in the global top of Netflix movies, standing out for being the most watched of the weekend in streaming. It is clear that negative reviews mean nothing when it comes to views, numbers and success.

Zack Snyder is known for his distinctive visual style and focus on action and superhero films.

He began his career with the remake of Dawn of the Dead in 2004, but achieved international recognition with his graphic novel adaptation 300 in 2006.
