Warner Greenlights Aegon Targaryen prequel ‘The Conqueror’ for Game of Thrones. Good news for Game of Thrones fans. We will see a new production with the Targaryen family at the center.

Game of Thrones gave meaning to a global phenomenon that placed epic fantasy in the spotlight once again. Given the great success, Warner Bros. authorized The House of the Dragon, a prequel series that has the Targaryen family as the center.
Now, through The Hollywood Reporter, it is reported that the studio has once again given the green light to a production with the dragon riders as stars.
According to new information, work is already underway on the spin-off of Aegon Targaryen, better known as ‘The Conqueror.’
Who is Aegon the Conqueror?
Aegon is known for being the founder of the Targaryen dynasty in Westeros.
He arrived on the continent with the two dragon sisters, Visenya and Rhaenys, and his forces, riding his own dragon, Balerion the Black Terror.
Using his military cunning and the power of dragons, Aegon conquered six of the Seven Kingdoms of Westeros, unifying them under his rule and founding the Iron Throne in the capital, King’s Landing.
The figure of Aegon the Conqueror is central to the history of Westeros, as his legacy continues to influence the events and ambitions of the different noble houses.
His conquest established House Targaryen’s dominance over Westeros for nearly three hundred years, marking a period of power and intrigue that became a crucial landmark in the continent’s political and social history.
What’s new about the Aegon the Conqueror series?
The Hollywood Reporter reports that the Aegon spin-off already has a screenwriter, Mattson Tomlin, known for Mother/Android, the future Batman 2, and BRZRKR, an adaptation of the eponymous comic starring Keanu Reeves.
Aegon and his dragons’ conquest of Westeros is an epic event encompassing political intrigue, monumental battles, and the clash of cultures and noble houses.
Exploring in detail the characters involved, from Aegon himself to his dragon sisters to the lords of the Seven Kingdoms, would provide a rich plot full of conflict, shifting alliances, and epic moments.

When does the second season of House of the Dragon premiere?
