What happened between Tom Holland and Tom Hollander?
Hollander tells Seth Meyers that on one occasion his agency got confused and sent him a box office bonus belonging to Tom Holland for his work on an Avengers movie. The actor simply couldn’t believe it.
“The people in my agency’s accounts department were confused. We were briefly with the same agency. And it was a terrible moment. I sat smugly in the audience having done a BBC show for $30,000.
Intermission came and I checked my email and received one from the agency that said: ‘Payment slip for the first box office bonus for The Avengers.’ I don’t think I’m in The Avengers.
It was an astonishing amount of money. It wasn’t his salary. It was his first box office bonus.
And it was more money than I had ever seen. It was a seven figure sum.”
