Madonna’s heartfelt journey as she visits Malawi with her 11-year-old twin daughters, Estere and Stella, creating cherished memories.

Beyond her successful career as a singer and her role as a pop culture icon, Madonna is a dedicated mother who treasures every moment with her children . The performer, who is in the middle of her successful De ella The Celebration Tour , just shared a glimpse of a special trip she took to Malawi with her youngest daughters, 11-year-old twins Estere and Stella.
On March 19, the 65-year-old singer shared on her Instagram stories a glimpse of her family’s cross-country journey, in which she visited Raising Malawi, the charity she founded in 2006.
Madonna posted a photo in which she is seen smiling among the twins, all three wearing military-inspired outfits. But beyond the outfits, what caught the most attention in the image was how grown the girls are, who are the singer’s ‘babies’. Apparently, this image was taken at the end of last year, when she visited the country with her family.
The Material Girl performer has a special bond with Malawi, through her organization with this country, as it is the homeland of four of her six children. In 2006, Madonna adopted David Banda , who is currently 18 years old. She then added Mercy James , who is the same age, to her family , and finally, in 2017, Stella and Estere, who were 4 years old at the time of their adoption, came into her life. In addition, the ‘Queen of Pop’ is the mother of Lourdes León and Rocco Ritchie , 27 and 23 years old respectively.
Through her organization, the American star has financed the construction of schools and a children’s hospital in Malawi, altruistic works that have reaffirmed that in addition to being a talented woman, she has a big heart.
On August 25, 2023, Madonna celebrated her twins’ birthday and shared several photos of them, as well as a heartfelt message. “How is it possible that they are already 11 years old? Because they are the most magical twins in the world!! “When I watch the old videos of her speaking Chichewa and drinking tea or dancing with a trance-like joy, I want to cry!” said the singer.
“Time is a cruel mistress that leaves us our memories never to be revived again, only to desperately try to remember them. I will never forget the first time she met them at Machinji. Her eyes held the entire world in them. The same way we now keep him within our hearts. In some way…. We are all displaced children, searching for connection and looking for love,” she then added in his message.
