Pixar could lay off twenty percent of its employees – An important round of layoffs awaits the Disney animation studio in 2024.

New year– 2024– could be a dark year for Pixar employees.

Through TechCrunch it is reported that an important character from the animation studio could be left without a job in view of the round of layoffs that executives have planned for this year.

The above would be disastrous for the employees of Pixar, one of the most respected and beloved branches of The Walt Disney Company, thanks to its long commitment to quality animated films.

According to new information, up to 20% of Pixar’s staff would be out of work due to the layoffs contemplated by senior management.

It is worth mentioning that the leaders have not defined the percentage, however, it seems that unemployment could be inevitable for some of the workers.

The aforementioned would bring the team of 1,300 people that currently makes up Pixar to 1,000, however, this number could change.
